French Onion Soup(Crock-Pot)

  1. Usually, I double this liquid and Worcestershire sauce, not the onions.
  2. If you have a slow cooking pot with a browning unit (I use a frypan), cook the onions in butter until lightly browned.
  3. In the crock-pot, combine browned onions in butter with bouillon, water, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
  4. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours. Top each bowl with toasted French bread and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings.
