Old South Brunswick Stew(Good Cold Night Supper Dish!)

  1. Cook meats until tender, saving the stock.
  2. Shred meat by hand.
  3. Mix all vegetables (except butter beans) with meats and seasonings together in a large pot; simmer on top of stove 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Add butter beans the last hour of cooking time.
  5. Stir frequently; if liquid is needed, add some of the meat stock. Serves 10.
