Old Time Spaghetti Sauce

  1. About 2 hours and 15 minutes before serving, in hot salad oil in a large skillet, brown garlic.
  2. Remove and in the same oil, saute onion until tender.
  3. Add crumbled meat and sprinkle in flour.
  4. Cook until meat is loose and a red color, stirring while cooking.
  5. Add remaining ingredients, stirring occasionally. Simmer, covered, 2 hours.
  6. If desired, serve immediately or freeze (directions below).
  7. Makes about 2 quarts of spaghetti sauce.
