Parmesan Vegetable Toss

  1. In large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower and onion.
  2. In small bowl, combine cheese, sugar, salt, basil and mayonnaise. Mix well.
  3. Add dressing to vegetables; toss gently.
  4. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  5. Just before serving, add bacon, lettuce, croutons and water chestnuts.
  6. Toss lightly.
  7. Makes 20 to 24 servings.
