Ham And Cauliflower Casserole
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cauliflower
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. minced onion
- 2 c. cubed, fully cooked ham
- 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. shredded natural Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In medium saucepot, cook cauliflower. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, in large saucepan melt 2 tablespoons butter.
- Stir in flour, salt and pepper; add milk and onion.
- Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in cheese until melted. Gently fold in ham, mushrooms and cauliflower.
- Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Crackers and 1 tablespoon melted butter can be sprinkled on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until heated through, about 15 minutes.
- Serves 6.
