Stromboli
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
- 2 medium cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- 2 (8 oz.) crescent refrigerated rolls
- 4 slices (4 oz.) Mozzarella cheese
- Cook beef, onion, pepper and garlic until browned.
- Drain and stir in spaghetti sauce.
- Cool to room temperature.
- On lightly floured surface unroll 1 package crescent rolls.
- Pinch perforations together to seal well.
- Roll to 11 x 9-inch rectangle.
- Arrange 2 slices of cheese in center, spread 1/2 beef mixture to within 1 1/2-inches of edges.
- Start at long edge, roll up.
- Pinch seam well, place seam down on cookie sheet.
- Repeat. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30
- minutes or until brown.
- Let stand for 5 minutes for easier slicing.
