Caesar Salad
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 large bunch romaine lettuce, torn into small pieces
- 1 lemon, cut into halves
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) container heavy cream
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, dry mustard and pepper and set aside.
- Put the lettuce pieces in a large serving bowl.
- Pour mixture over them and toss well until leaves are thoroughly covered with the dressing.
- Squeeze lemon over the salad and toss again.
- Pour the cream over the salad and toss it again.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and toss it again.
- The recipe makes 4 servings and takes 30 minutes to prepare.
