Sesame Chicken
- 1 1/2 c. chicken bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 4 scallions, diced
- 1 tsp. canola oil
- 1 lb. chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. drained pimentos
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seed
- Combine bouillon broth, cornstarch and soy sauce; blend well. Stir in scallions and set aside.
- Heat oil in wok and stir-fry chicken and garlic, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove and keep warm.
- Add broccoli and broth mixture to the wok.
- Cover and simmer 8 minutes. Add the chicken and pimentos and heat just until mixture is good and hot.
- Top with sesame seed.
- Serve over pasta or rice.
- (May substitute pork for chicken.
- Makes 6 servings.
