Cocktail Meat Balls With Sauce

  1. Beat egg; add salt, pepper and bread crumbs.
  2. Add beef and minced onions; mix well.
  3. Heat chili sauce, jelly, lemon juice and vinegar in a large pot over low heat until jelly melts and mixture is well blended.
  4. Form meat mixture into small balls; drop into chili mixture.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring to be sure none is stuck on bottom and all are covered.
  6. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Uncover and simmer 10 minutes or until meat balls are done and sauce is thickened.
  8. If frozen, reheat slowly.
