Sweet And Sour Pork

  1. Cut
  2. pork
  3. or chicken into 1-inch cubes, or form ground beef into
  4. 1-inch
  5. balls.
  6. Dip
  7. in batter made of eggs, salt, pepper, flour
  8. andtaking powder.took well on all sides in hot
  9. oil. Remove
  10. meat
  11. and
  12. keep
  13. hot.
  14. Pour
  15. off
  16. all but 2 tablespoons oil.
  17. Add green peppers, seeded and cut into small chunks,tith the chicken bouillon;
  18. cook for 10 minutes.
  19. Add pineapple, the rest of the bouillon and the other ingredients; blend
  20. together. Cook
  21. until thickened; add the meat and heat through.
  22. Serve
  23. over hot
  24. rice.
  25. Garnish,
  26. if
  27. desired, with tomato wedges and hard-cooked eggs.
  28. Serves 4 to 6.
