Ho Ho Cake

  1. Make chocolate cake mix according to package.
  2. Bake in a jelly roll pan.
  3. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Cool cake.
  5. Combine cornstarch and milk in pan.
  6. Cook until thick; cover and cool. Cream vanilla, sugar, Crisco and 1/2 cup oleo.
  7. Add to cornstarch mixture.
  8. Beat until fluffy.
  9. Spread onto cool cake.
  10. Melt 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons oleo and cocoa.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Add powdered sugar, egg and hot water.
  13. Beat well and spread onto cake.
  14. Do quickly, the icing starts to settle immediately.
  15. Refrigerate and serve.
