Pakistani-Style Lamb Patties

  1. Saute' the onions in hot oil until they are translucent.
  2. Add the garlic and saute' briefly.
  3. Remove mixture from the heat.
  4. Soak the bread crumbs in water.
  5. Squeeze out any excess moisture.
  6. Combine the bread crumbs, onion, and garlic.
  7. Add the lamb, pine nuts, beaten eggs, tahnini, parsley, salt, pepper, and spices.
  8. Mix them together gently but thoroughly.
  9. Shape the mixture into patties and chill the patties.
  10. Grill or broil the patties to doneness.
