Ham And Pineapple Skewers

  1. Fit the steel knife into the work bowl of a food processor. Combine flour, orange juice, mustard, baking powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Process 10 seconds, until well mixed.
  3. Pour batter into a deep bowl.
  4. Cut bread and ham into 1/2 inch cubes. Place a cube of bread, a cube of pineapple and a cube of ham on wooden pick.
  5. Repeat to make 30 appetizers.
  6. Pour oil into a large deep skillet to the depth of 2 inches.
  7. Heat oil to 325u0b0.
  8. Dip each appetizer into batter to coat completely.
  9. Carefully lower wooden picks into hot oil.
  10. Deep fry for about 5 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. Serve warm.
  12. Yield:
  13. 30 appetizers.
