Chinese Style Hamburger Hash
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 Tbsp. oil or shortening
- 2 medium size onions, chopped
- 1 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 c. warm water (I use a little more)
- 2/3 c. uncooked rice
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- Brown meat in hot oil until crumbly.
- Add chopped onion, celery and soups.
- Rinse out cans with the warm water and add to mixture.
- Stir in uncooked rice, soy sauce and pepper.
- Turn into a large lightly greased casserole.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes; remove cover and continue baking for 30 minutes longer. Cover the mixture with the noodles and continue baking for 15 minutes.
- Serves 8.
