Crisp Oatmeal Quicks

  1. Cream together shortening, butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Blend in beaten eggs.
  3. Gradually blend in mixture of flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Fold in oatmeal, then cornflakes and vanilla.
  5. Add one of the choice ingredients.
  6. Blend choice in well and drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Yields 6 dozen.
