Bayou Seafood Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1 pt. crabmeat
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- sharp cheese, grated
- cracker crumbs
- Melt and put aside the cream cheese and butter.
- Saute butter, onion, pepper, mushrooms, shrimp and celery.
- Add to the first mixture; mix well, then add soup, garlic powder, Tabasco, pepper, crabmeat and rice.
- Mix well; place in casserole and top with cheese and crumbs.
- Bake about 20 minutes at 350u0b0 or until bubbly.
