Organic Beef Stew

  1. Heat a medium size non-stick pot , generously season your meat with salt and pepper and add it to the pot . Cook over low heat until it produces its own juice , then add some more water , add more salt to taste ( if needed ),let it cook over medium heat until the water is boiling , then add potatoes and bay leaves .Reduce the heat .
  2. Heat oil in pan , add carrots, onions and garlic , cook until almost done, stirring occasionally . Add tomato sauce ( grated tomatoes ) , Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste . Add more salt to taste . Cook for 7 minutes . Then stir everything into the pot . Simmer until the meat is very tender .
  3. Gradually add sifted flour right before it's done, stirring . Let is simmer for another 10 minutes until thickened . Sprinkle with parsley or cilantro .
