Savory Patties

  1. Combine meat, salt, onion, mustard, 1/4 cup crumbs, egg and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Mix very well and shape into 6 patties.
  3. Put the 1/2 cup crumbs on a piece of waxed paper and press patties onto it so the crumbs adhere to the outside.
  4. Heat the oil in a frypan. Brown patties on both sides.
  5. Turn down heat.
  6. Drain off any fat from pan.
  7. Open soup and add 1/4 cup water.
  8. Pour over patties. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
  9. Serve with cooked egg noodles. Sprinkle with chopped chives.
  10. You can substitute turkey for all or part of beef.
