Lemon Pound Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in water.
  3. Set aside. Empty contents of cake mix into large mixing bowl.
  4. Add oil and flavoring.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Add gelatin mixture and continue beating batter until it is well mixed.
  7. Use a 9-inch tube pan.
  8. Put two layers of waxed paper in bottom.
  9. Grease the tube and sides of pan and dust lightly with flour.
  10. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from pan immediately with spatula and glaze with the following, which you have mixed while cake is baking.
  12. This is a very moist cake and freezes well.
