Grandma'S Casserole

  1. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in margarine until transparent; add remaining ingredients except cheese and noodles. Simmer 20 minutes.
  2. Spoon enough of mixture to cover bottom of 8 x 11-inch pan.
  3. Cover with uncooked noodles.
  4. Cover with remaining mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes. Makes 4 servings; 3 protein, 1 bread and 2 vegetables.
  7. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
