Beef Kabobs
- 1/2 c. Chablis or other dry white wine
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 3/4 to 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 16 to 18 mushroom caps
- 1 large green pepper, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 12 to 14 cherry tomatoes
- 2 small yellow squash, cut into 1-inch thick slices
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Add meat; cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
- Remove meat from marinade.
- Alternate meat and vegetables on 4 skewers.
- Place on grill and cook according to taste for steak.
