Dave'S Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 lb. hot Italian sausage
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. fresh chopped mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 can favorite sauce
- 1 (5 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (3 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 shakes sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- Saute sausage and chuck.
- Drain grease.
- Add onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic until onion is clear, then add next 3 herbs. In large saucepot, put sausage mixture and add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve over vermicelli with garlic bread and salad.
