Country Time Chicken And Noodles
- 1/4 c. flour with pinches of garlic salt, pepper, paprika and poultry seasoning added
- 1 1/2 lb. chicken
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 4 small onions
- 6 oz. noodles
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. fresh parsley
- 2 c. milk
- Cook noodles in 2 quarts water.
- Shake chicken in flour and seasonings.
- Reserve remaining flour.
- Fry 5 to 7 minutes, or until
- chicken
- and
- oniontre
- browned.
- Reduce heat and simmer approximately 45 minutes.
- Drain noodles and toss with butter
- and parsley.
- Keep
- warm.
- To serve, place noodles on plattertnd put chicken on top.
- Cover with foil.
- Remove all but
- 2 tablespoons
- drippings from skillet.
- Stir in reserved flour. Cook about 1 minute, or until golden brown.
- Gradually stir
- in milk;
- bring
- to
- a
- boil.took 2 minutes, stirring constantly until
- mixture
- thickens.
- Spoon
- some
- gravy over noodles and chicken.
