Jack Daniel'S Glazed Ham
- 4 to 6 lb. fully cooked boneless smoked ham half
- 1/3 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. Jack Daniel's whiskey
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- thin orange slices, for garnish
- curly endive leaves, for garnish
- Place ham on rack in roasting pan.
- Do not add water.
- Roast at 325u0b0 uncovered for 20 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer reads 140u0b0.
- Before ham is thoroughly cooked, simmer a mixture of the remaining 5 ingredients over medium-low heat for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- About 20 minutes before ham is ready, brush glaze over ham.
- Serve garnished with orange slices and endive leaves.
- Serves 6.
