Pasta With Seafood Sauce
- 1 lb. pasta (such as linguine)
- 1 lb. peeled shrimp
- 1 can baby clams
- 1 can squid (with the ink)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 piece garlic
- fresh parsley
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 4 peeled tomatoes, chopped
- salt
- oregano
- 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce or to taste
- oil
- Saute onion, garlic and parsley in a little oil.
- Add the tomato sauce, the chopped peeled tomatoes and wine.
- Also add the salt, oregano and Tabasco sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add shrimp, clams and squid.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off heat and cover.
- Let sit for several minutes to blend flavors.
- Cook pasta according to package directions and serve the sauce on top of the cooked pasta.
