Clam Pie

  1. Cut clams up with sharp knife and fork.
  2. Peel and dice potatoes; combine with onions, pepper, Texas Pete, Worcestershire, oregano, parsley flakes, salt and black pepper in large saucepan. Cover with clam juice and water.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and boil slowly 1 hour.
  4. Dice salt pork and fry crisp.
  5. Add meat and grease to clam
  6. mixture.
  7. Continue cooking.
  8. Mix pie crust and roll out. Using 13 x 9-inch pan, line sides with crust.
  9. Add clam mixture. Cover with strips of crust.
  10. Bake in 400u0b0 oven until crust is browned.
