Curried Lima Bean Casserole

  1. Cook lima beans as directed.
  2. Drain reserving liquid as part of the 1/2 cup water to the soup.
  3. Combine onion, red pepper, soup and water in a saucepan.
  4. Heat through.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Blend sour cream and curry powder into soup mixture.
  7. Stir in lima beans.
  8. Put mixture into a 6-cup casserole.
  9. Combine bread crumbs with melted butter.
  10. Stir in bacon crumbles.
  11. Sprinkle over lima mixture.
  12. Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes until
  13. crumb topping is browned.
