Pork Chops And Rice Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Combine rice and 4 cups of water (1 teaspoon salt, optional) in a large pan.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. While rice is cooking, lightly brown each side of pork chops and set aside (about 2 minutes on medium heat for each side).
  6. Combine gravy mix, onion soup mix and 3 cups water in saucepan.
  7. Cook over medium heat until it thickens, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Pour sauce over rice; mix well.
  9. Grease a large casserole dish (lightly with Pam). Layer with rice and single row of pork chops.
  10. Repeat procedure.
