Beef With Orange Flavor
- 1 lb. sirloin beef, cut into thin bite size pieces
- 3 Tbsp. Hoison sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 whole orange, slice rind into bite size pieces, juice and reserve the rest
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tsp. sesame seed oil
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 carrots, cut into small pieces
- 2 peppers, cut into small pieces
- 1 onion, cut into small pieces
- 4 to 5 shitake mushrooms, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 lb. snow peas, destringed
- 1/2 c. cashew nuts, toasted
- 3 to 5 c. cooked rice (ready)
- Mix beef with 1 tablespoon Hoison sauce and then toss with 2 tablespoons cornstarch and set aside.
