Strawberry Surprise Salad
- 2 large pkg. strawberry jello
- 1/2 c. cold water (for each bowl)
- 1 large can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (1/2 for each bowl)
- 1 c. hot water (for each bowl)
- 2 (16 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
- 1 large carton sour cream
- Using 2 bowls, mix all ingredients together.
- Example: One package jello, 1 cup hot water, 1/2 cup cold water, 1 package strawberries and 1/2 can of pineapple.
- Do not drain strawberries and pineapple, use the juice.
- After you have combined the ingredients, put half the mixture in a large square pan. Refrigerate until firm; leave other half of mixture set out.
- When refrigerated jello mixture has gotten firm, spread sour cream on top, then pour the rest of the liquid mixture on top.
- Refrigerate until firm.
