No-Time Chili

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan over moderate heat for 1 minute. Add onion and green pepper; saute, stirring often for 2 minutes or until slightly softened.
  2. Add beef; stir and cook for 2 minutes or until no longer pink.
  3. Pour off the fat.
  4. Add seasoning mix and black pepper to saucepan.
  5. Stir.
  6. Cook over moderate heat for 1 minute.
  7. Mix in tomatoes and kidney beans.
  8. Bring to a simmer, stirring often.
  9. Add green beans and red pepper flakes.
  10. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  11. Cook rice according to package directions. Serve chili over rice and enjoy!
