Quick And Easy Tuna Pot Pie
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. diced onion and celery
- 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 lb. drained canned chunk white tuna, flaked
- 4 ready to bake refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits
- 1 c. diced carrots
- 1 c. skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- In 10-inch skillet, heat margarine until bubbly and hot.
- Add carrots, onion and celery; saute until onion is translucent. Sprinkle vegetables with flour and stir quickly to combine.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk and stir constantly, bringing to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring until mixture thickens.
- Add tuna and seasonings.
- Stir to combine.
- Remove from heat.
