Ski Day Chicken Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan, over medium heat, and whisk in flour; stirring constantly, cook 1 minute.
  3. Add stock, sour cream, and wine.
  4. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  5. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  6. Arrange the noodles in a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  7. Layer the chicken, mushrooms and then sauce to cover.
  8. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and mix with the bread crumbs.
  9. Top the casserole with the buttered crumbs and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
