Crumbly Soap

• 10 c. water
• 9 c. melted fat (not hot)
• 1/2 c. ammonia
• 1/2 c. Borax
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 small can lye

1. Mix water, fat, ammonia,
2. borax, sugar and lye in order given in a plastic pail.tprinkle
3. lye in last.ttir and let set 5 to 10 minutes,
4. then
5. stir
6. again.
7. Stir
8. frequently the first hour and half.
9. There

11. every
12. hour throughout the day.
13. Make sure there is no liquid in the bottom at the end of the day.
14. (If there is, you may stir it several times the next morning.) After it is all done, let it set in pail a few days, then cover soap or put

17. container to prevent drying out.

21. separate at first.
22. But it will eventually absorb
23. and look beautiful and crumbly by stirring. For best results make only one batch at a time or use separate container for each batch.
