New Mexico Peanut Pie

  1. Combine
  2. sugar, brown sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
  3. Add
  4. milk
  5. and
  6. peanut
  7. butter chips gradually. Cook and
  8. stir on medium heat until thick and bubbly.
  9. Reduce heat; cook
  10. and
  11. stir
  12. 2tinutes.
  13. Beattgg
  14. yolks
  15. lightly intmall bowl.
  16. Stir
  17. 1 cup hot mixture into yolks gradually and
  18. return egg
  19. mixture
  20. to saucepan.tring to gentle boil. Cook
  21. and
  22. stir ontow heat 2 minutes.
  23. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  24. Pour mixture into baked pie shell and sprinkle with peanuts.
  25. Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 minutes.
  26. Cool to room temperature before serving.
