Grandma Fahrenkrog'S Vinegar Vegetables
- banana peppers
- green and red bell peppers
- green tomatoes
- Heinz white vinegar
- onions
- cauliflower
- hot peppers (2 to 3 per jar)
- salt
- Clean all the vegetables.
- Leave the banana peppers whole. Cut the bell peppers into large chunks.
- Cut the green tomatoes, onions and cauliflower into wedges.
- Place mixture of all these raw vegetables into cleaned jars.
- Place 2 to 3 hot peppers in each jar, if you like the heat.
- They're what spice it up, so use as you desire.
- Heat the vinegar, not to boiling, and pour over the vegetables in the jars.
- Sprinkle a little salt in each jar. Place lids on and pressure can at 10 pounds of pressure for 5 minutes.
- After opening jars, keep in refrigerator.
