Cheesy Sausage Quiche
- 3/4 lb. pork sausage links (Lil Sizzlers)
- 1/2 c. onion, diced
- 1/3 c. green pepper, diced
- 1 1/2 c. shredded grated Cheddar
- 1 deep dish frozen pie shell
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In medium skillet, fry sausage until done.
- Drain on paper towel.
- Save 2 tablespoons fat.
- Saute onion and green pepper for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Slice/chop sausage. Combine cheese and flour.
- Stir in sausage slices, green pepper and onion.
- Spread in pie crust.
- Mix remaining ingredients and put in pie shell.
- Bake on cookie sheet 35 to 40 minutes until browned and filling is set.
- Serve with cheese grits, blueberry muffins and Orange Julius!
