Sweet And Sour Meatballs(Yields 25 Servings)

  1. Drain pineapple tidbits, reserving syrup.
  2. Set pineapple aside. Add water to reserved syrup to make 1/4 cup liquid.
  3. Combine syrup mixture, can of cranberry sauce, bottled barbecue sauce, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour over meatballs.
  5. Bring to boiling.
  6. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Blend 1/4 cup cold water into 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
  8. Stir into skillet.
  9. Cook and stir until thick.
  10. Add pineapple and 1/2 cup green pepper strips.
  11. Simmer covered until green pepper is barely tender.
  12. Serve as appetizers or may be served over hot cooked rice.
