Honey Garlic Pork
- Marinade
- 2 lbs pork
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soya sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Cut pork into cubes or strips.
- Mix together marinade ingredients and bring to boil.
- Pour over pork and let stand in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before grilling meat, drain sauce and discard.
- Stir fry meat in skillet. Put into casserole dish.
- In saucepan or skillet combine sauce ingredients and bring to boil.
- Thicken with cornstarch and cook until no raw taste remains.
- Pour over meat and bake in oven for 1 hour at 350u0b0F
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve over a bed of rice.
