Moussaka (Greek)

  1. Saute in oil separately until done the onion, eggplant and hamburger.
  2. Drain; set aside.
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Make a sauce with 3 tablespoons oil and the flour.
  5. Cook over low heat.
  6. Add the stock and milk; cook until thickened.
  7. Add a little to the egg yolks, then put the egg yolks in sauce.
  8. On a buttered casserole dish, layer eggplant, meat, cheese, sauce and nutmeg.
  9. Repeat layers. Beat egg whites; smear on top.
  10. Sprinkle a little cheese and nutmeg.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes, until bubbly.
