Raisin Rocks

  1. Sift flour once; measure. Add baking soda, salt and spices. Sift together 3 times. Work butter with spoon until creamy. Add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add egg. Beat well. Add flour alternately with combined milk and molasses, a small amount at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400u0b0) for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen Rocks.
