Fudge Pudding Cake

  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, 1/2 cup sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add milk, oil and vanilla; stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Turn into a ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
  5. Combine the 3/4 cup sugar and the 1/4 cup cocoa; gradually stir in boiling water.
  6. Pour liquid mixture evenly over batter in pan.
  7. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven about 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Serve warm or chilled. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
  9. Serves 8.
