Crustless Pizza
- 1 egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. tomato catsup
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. bread crumbs
- 4 drops hot red pepper sauce
- dried oregano, salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. marinara sauce
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 green pepper, cut into rings
- 4 or 5 sliced mushrooms
- 1 oz. sliced pepperoni (optional)
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Beat egg in a medium-size bowl.
- Add beef, catsup, onion, Worcestershire, bread crumbs, pepper sauce, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
- Mix thoroughly with a fork.
- Pat meat evenly in a 12-inch pizza pan. Bake 7 minutes or longer until no longer pink.
- Spread marinara sauce over meat.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
- Top with Mozzarella and Parmesan. Arrange green pepper, mushrooms and pepperoni on top of cheese. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Broil 3 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Serve in wedges.
- Makes 4 servings.
