Stir Fried Pork With Honey.
- 2 handfuls egg noodles
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 250 g pork loin, cut into 30 mm pieces
- 2 teaspoons pureed ginger
- 2 teaspoons pureed garlic
- 1 green capsicum, deseeded and sliced
- 100 g snow peas
- 1 teaspoon sesame, seed
- Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and cook the noodles following pack instructions. Meanwhile, mix the cornflour with 1 tbsp water, then stir in the soy sauce and honey, and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat. Add the pork and cook for 3 or 4 mins until browned all over. Add the ginger, garlic, capsicum and snowpeas, and cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat, then add the soy and honey mixture, stirring and cooking until the sauce bubbles and thickens.
- Distribute drained noodles into two dishes and add the pork mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top.
