Vegetable Spaghetti Sauce(Serves 6 To 10)

  1. Chop onion and garlic; heat in oil in big pot.
  2. Include bay leaves at this point.
  3. Add vegetables in order listed, all chopped. Saute over medium heat until limp and mushrooms have given up their juice.
  4. Add can of tomatoes, paste, wine and sugar.
  5. Cook on simmer for 1/2 hour.
  6. Add spices at the end to maintain their flavor. Serve with any shape of pasta.
