Tennessee River Mud Pie

• 1 c. flour
• 1 c. chopped pecans
• 1 stick margarine, softened
• 1 c. confectioners sugar
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 1 large carton Cool Whip
• 1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix

1. Put a can of Eagle Brand or Carnation condensed milk in deep saucepan filled
2. with
3. water (be sure can is covered with water all the time).
4. Bring water to a boil, then simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
5. Be sure

7. watch and be sure water covers it all the time.
8. Take out
9. of water and let cool, then open can.
10. It will be caramelized.
11. Spoon
12. into
13. baked
14. plain pie shell or a graham cracker
15. crust.
16. Let
17. cool
18. completely, then cover with Cool Whip or
19. whipped
20. cream.
21. Refrigerate.
