Hail To The Chief

  1. In bowl of warm water, thaw pea pouch for 20 minutes.
  2. In large skillet, cook sausage until browned; drain.
  3. Stir in onion and garlic; cook until golden, about 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, chicken, celery, olives, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Bring mixture to a boil; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in rice and thawed peas.
  6. Cover and continue cooking 5 minutes or until rice and peas are thoroughly heated.
  7. Makes 4 servings.
