Beef And Squash Strata(Serves 6)

  1. Prepare meat sauce as directed.
  2. Trim ends from zucchini and thinly slice on the diagonal.
  3. Stir-fry in butter 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  4. Place in a buttered 10-inch round baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt.
  5. Spoon meat sauce over zucchini. Cover with a layer of tomatoes.
  6. Beat cottage cheese and eggs together.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Gruyere and onions.
  8. Pour over tomatoes.
  9. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 35 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
  10. Cut into wedges.
