Strawberry Cheese Pie
- 1 pkg. whipped topping mix
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 1 pt. fresh strawberries, hulled and sweetened to taste
- 1 c. boiling water
- Prepare
- topping
- mix with milk and vanilla as directed on package.
- Whip cheese until soft, beat in sugar, then blend in topping.
- Pour
- into crust; scoop out center and mound high at edges;
- refrigerate.
- Dissolve
- gelatin
- in boiling water. Drain berries,
- measuring
- syruptnd enough water to make 1/2 cup. Stir
- strawberriestnto
- gelatin.thill
- until syrupy. Spoon gelatin
- into pie shell, leaving a narrow rim of filling around edge.
- Chill until set, about 3 hours.
