Strawberry Cheese Pie

• 1 pkg. whipped topping mix
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. milk
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
• 1 pt. fresh strawberries, hulled and sweetened to taste
• 1 c. boiling water

1. Prepare

3. mix with milk and vanilla as directed on package.
4. Whip cheese until soft, beat in sugar, then blend in topping.
5. Pour
6. into crust; scoop out center and mound high at edges;
7. refrigerate.
8. Dissolve
9. gelatin
10. in boiling water. Drain berries,
11. measuring
12. syruptnd enough water to make 1/2 cup. Stir
13. strawberriestnto
14. gelatin.thill
15. until syrupy. Spoon gelatin
16. into pie shell, leaving a narrow rim of filling around edge.
17. Chill until set, about 3 hours.
