Cajun French Cabbage Rolls

  1. Brown ground beef and drain.
  2. Add onions, celery and garlic and cook until wilted.
  3. Remove 12 outer leaves from cabbage; parboil these for 15 minutes.
  4. Drain and set aside; cut up center of cabbage (not the core) to equal 1 cup.
  5. Cook until tender and add to meat mixture with 1 teaspoon tomato paste.
  6. Add rice; mix and stuff cabbage leaves.
  7. Secure with toothpicks.
